Adding full support for SAP HANA builds on SEP's existing support for SAP and provides a valuable component for both existing and future enterprise customers. Using SAP's BACKINT interface in conjunction with SEP's Multi-Streaming Technology has enabled SEP to provide the fastest backups for SAP HANA in the industry.

Instant VM Recovery for VMware essentially eliminates downtime and provides a higher level of business continuity than previously available. Users are able to instantly restart virtual machines without having to wait for restores.

"We are pleased to be launching this update for SEP sesam," stated Tim Wagner, President of SEP Software Corp.  "It is our mission to offer the most efficient and high-performing backup solution available in the marketplace today.  This offering demonstrates our plans to give our customers the latest technology available and provide a seamless backup solution for companies of any size," concluded Wagner.

SEP sesam v4.4 also comes equipped with Si3 in-line deduplication for Linux.  This functionality utilizes disk space and reduces storage costs while efficiently consolidating Linux data.  SEP's deduplication module eliminates the need for other expensive hardware or software deduplication solutions.  The new release offers an enhanced GUI and further customization options to give users even more control of their daily backups.
