La nueva herramienta de solicitud de certificados de GlobalSign facilita las aplicaciones SSL

El servicio gratuito en línea genera líneas de comandos para los servidores web más populares

LONDRES (REINO UNIDO) - 19 de diciembre de 2013 - GlobalSign, la Autoridad de Certificación (CA) mediante SaaS para empresas y uno de los principales proveedores de certificados SSL de todo el mundo, anunció hoy el lanzamiento de su nueva herramienta de solicitud de certificados SSL. Este servicio en línea gratuito proporciona a los administradores de sitios web las líneas de comandos necesarias para generar Solicitudes de Firma de Certificados (CSR) desde sus servidores. Se trata de la última de las numerosas innovaciones de GlobalSign pensadas para facilitar la gestión de todo el ciclo de vida de los certificados SSL.

Este servicio está a disposición de particulares y organizaciones en el enlace https://csrhelp.globalsign.com/es. Los administradores de los sitios web solamente tienen que introducir en una sencilla e intuitiva interfaz la información necesaria para la Solicitud de Firma de Certificado, como el nombre de dominio completo, el nombre de la organización y los datos de ubicación. La herramienta devuelve las líneas de comandos necesarias para la mayoría de aplicaciones, como OpenSSL, Exchange 2007, Exchange 2010 y Java Keytool. Esta solución, que resulta ideal para las empresas, automatiza el proceso de generación de CSR para los desarrolladores API y los programadores de sistemas personalizados.

En un entorno en el que no cesan de surgir amenazas, la herramienta proporciona asimismo a los administradores de sitios web una orientación adicional para generar CSR y cumplir con las buenas prácticas. Además de ofrecer información sobre cómo mantener la seguridad de las claves privadas, la herramienta incorpora de manera predeterminada un algoritmo de clave (RSA) y un tamaño de clave (2048 bits como mínimo) para la generación de CSR que se corresponden con las últimas recomendaciones y regulaciones del sector. El proceso de generación de CSR, disponible en español, inglés, francés, alemán, neerlandés, ruso, chino y japonés, está disponible para los usuarios de todo el mundo.
